The generosity of our donors throughout the year enables us to continue to offer free and innovative programs to people with all disabilities and of all ages in Middlesex, Somerset and Union counties.
We ask that you remember us on #GivingTuesday. You can donate through PayPal or visit our support page to find out several other ways that you can help! Those who donate $50 or more on Giving Tuesday will received a limited addition NJ Disability Pride Parade t-shirt as our way of saying thanks!
Your contribution will be used to support our existing programs and services such as budget and money management, the ACI volunteer office skills program, instruction on keeping safe and abuse prevention, independent living classes and one on one instruction, work preparation, peer support and health and wellness classes.
Here is a snapshot of ACI's activities since October 1st:
- Hosted and organized the 5th annual NJ Disability Pride Parade which was attended by 700 people throughout the state
- ACI was a community partner with Rutgers University and organized two workshops for the California based integrated dance troupe, AXIS Dance Company.
- Overnight Emergency Shelter Simulation for people with disabilities took place in Somerset County.
- Our volunteer run food pantry has assisted dozens of families and individuals with disabilities.
