Tomorrow is Election Day...Get Out and VOTE!

Whoever is elected tomorrow will impact our lives for the next four years.  People with disabilities account for more than 35 million voters this year, approximately one sixth of the total electorate. Let's go out and Rock the Vote!

Congratulations to all the first time voters out there. ACI would like to hear your experiences whether good or bad. Please contact us or email ctonks@adacil.org or lkoppisch@adacil.org.

GETTING TO THE POLLS

Carpool Vote: A national platform connecting volunteer drivers with anybody needing a ride to cast their vote. The platform is accessible to voters with disabilities.

Your local center for independent living: Some centers for independent living are offering rides to the polls. Contact your center to see if they can offer you a ride or if they can connect you to another service in your community.

FIND YOUR POLLING PLACE

If you are registered you should have received a sample ballot in the mail. Please read it over carefully. If you still have questions on where to go to vote, visit Get to the Polls and enter the address used when you registered to vote to find your polling location.

On Election Day, November 8th, 2016 between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM, Disability Rights New Jersey will have attorneys available by telephone to answer your questions concerning any disability-related voting problem you might experience.
