ACI Vendor Event

Graduates from the Living My Best Life workshop series participated as vendors in ACI's first Vendor Event! We are thankful for members of the community that came out to support us! Every vendor designed, created or made their items. The vendors also donated 10% of their sales to ACI. It was a great experience!

Holiday Express Party 2022 🎄

On November 17th, ACI welcomed the holiday season with a Holiday Express dance party at the Minnie B. Veal Community Center in Edison. Holiday Express provided the entertainment, food, volunteers and giveaway bags. Special guests included Frosty the Snowman and The Grinch!

Halloween Dance Party! 🎃

ACI got into the spirit of the spooky season by throwing a Halloween dance party at Joy's Dance House. ACI friends new and old had a fabulous time and there were many awesome costumes! Thanks to DJ Mike for keeping the dance floor filled all night! A special thanks to Joy Cutrone for graciously letting us host our event at her studio!

Personal Assistance Services Program Now Offered at the Alliance Center for Independence

The Alliance Center for Independence (ACI) is very pleased to announce we are now administrating the State funded Personal Assistance Services Program (PASP) in Middlesex County. We thank the Middlesex County Office of Aging and Disabled Services for the award of the PASP grant.

ACI launched the administration of the PASP program in August and is enjoying the opportunity to work with the many consumers the program serves. Additionally, ACI plans to expand the program to include new participants.

We Need Your Input About #NJDPP 2023!

It has been a few years since the Alliance Center for Independence held the NJ Disability Pride Parade (now called NJ Disability Pride in the Park). Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, things were placed on hold for everyone's safety. We are looking into the possibility of NJDPP in the Fall of 2023 and want your input!
