Audio Crosswalk Ribbon Cutting

The Alliance Center for Independence, the Middlesex County Board of Chosen Freeholders and the Township of Woodbridge invites you to a special ribbon cutting ceremony to officially mark the installation of audio crosswalk signals at 12 intersections along Amboy Avenue in Fords.

The ceremony will take place at 10:00 AM at the corner of Amboy Ave and Ford Ave (across from the 7-11) in Fords, NJ and will feature speeches by Midldesex County Freehold Board Director Ronald Rios, the Mayor of Woodbridge, John McCormac, and other dignitaries.

Try out the the new audio crosswalk signals! The new signals help people in the area, including those with disabilities and visual impairments, cross the busy streets safely.

Immediately following the ceremony there will be a continental breakfast reception at the Alliance Center for Independence, located in the Beacon Building on 629 Amboy Ave (one block from Ford Ave).
