Medicare Open Enrollment runs from October 15th to December 7th. This is the time for you to review your Medicare drug plan or consider Medicare Advantage Health Plans. Plans and benefits will have significant changes in 2025.

Experience a concert by the Holiday Express Band, supported by volunteer elves who engage with the audience. ACI and WellPoint (formerly AmeriGroup) celebrate National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM)!
October is NDEAM, a campaign developed by the U.S. Department of Labor's Office of Employment Policy to "celebrate the value and talent that workers with disabilities add to America’s workplaces and economy."
To recognize NDEAM, ACI has partnered with WellPoint to sponsor a workshop on job interview skills.

Fall is flu season…take time to get a flu vaccine!
ACI has partnered with the Middlesex County Health Department to provide FREE flu vaccines.
The CDC recommends a yearly flu vaccine as the first and most important action in reducing your risk of flu and its potentially serious outcomes.
All participants who fill out a survey get a "Relax, Get Vaxxed" t-shirt and a $10 Dollar Tree gift card! (supplies limited)

Join us for fishing, fun, food, and sun!
Participants will register at the Beach Haven Marlin and Tuna Club which is fully accessible and then head to the fishing pier two blocks away. We will have assistance with roadway traffic allowing participants to transport to each location without hazard of vehicles. Following fishing, participants are invited back to the club for an award ceremony and banquet dinner. This event is open to any level fisherperson, beginners and experts alike. We anticipate some gear to be available, however, if you have a fishing pole and gear, please bring it with you. Unfortunately, transportation will not be provided.
Registration Fee is $10 per fisher. Registration begins at noon at the BHMTC. Parking for adaptive participants will be available. While we anticipate volunteer assistance, we ask participants be accompanied with someone who can assist you during the event.

We are also excited to have the Caravan for Disability Justice and Freedom on display. The Caravan has been making stops throughout the country to spread the word about the power of the disability vote and to connect with local activists and reinforce our commitment to securing freedom and independence. While celebrating local disability rights movements, part of the Disability Caravan’s ultimate goal at each stop along the way will be to educate our peers on our history, and encourage them to be a part of their future by way of emphasizing voters’ registration for all. ACI volunteers will be on hand on Thursday, March 28th from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM to learn valuable job skills while bagging your groceries. Tips or donations will be greatly appreciated!!! Proceeds will go towards the ACI CommUnity Market.
