Sins Invalid (sinsinvalid.org) is a disability justice based performance project that celebrates artists with disabilities, artists of color and LGBTQ and gender-variant artists through provocative works that challenge paradigms of “normal” and “sexy.”
Birthing, Dying, Becoming Crip Wisdom (2016) is an evocative exploration of creation, aging and mortality, a journey through genesis, transformative power and earth that plunges audiences into visions of life and death, the disabled body/mind and liberation.
Admission: Free and open to the public. Light food and refreshments will be available.
Accessibility: Film is captioned and venue is wheelchair accessible.
Transportation: Kean University is accessible via Access Link, NJ Transit bus, and the accessible NJ Transit Union Station across the street from the main campus. Free, accessible parking is also available on-site.
