Look for the ACI float at this year’s St. Patrick's Day Parade presented by the American Irish Association of Woodbridge!
Held annually for decades, the Woodbridge St. Patricks' Day parade is the largest in New Jersey and attracts thousands of people to Main Street and downtown Woodbridge every spring.
Visit the American Irish Association website for more information.
WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PARADE WITH US?
All parade participants will need to arrange for their own transportation to Woodbridge High School located at 1 Samuel Lupo Place in Woodbridge NJ.
There are 2 options:
Option #1: Park your car at the Woodbridge Train station located on Pearl Street in between Main Street and Green Street before noon (that lot will fill up fast). They will have shuttle buses taking people from the Green Street side of the lot to the high school beginning at noon.
Before the parade: The bus will pick up participants underneath the Woodbridge NJTransit Train Station Green Street train overpass beginning at Noon and drop off participants at WHS.
After the parade: The bus will return participants to WHS with a pick up stop at Berkeley College which is located at the end of the parade route near Town Hall.
Option #2: Have someone drop you off at the Woodbridge Main Library adjacent to the Woodbridge High School. Cars that drop off will be guided to the exit behind the high school. I suggest that your ride parks at the Woodbridge train station lot on Pearl Street between Green Street and Main Street.
The parade ends a few blocks away from the train parking lot. The lots will fill up fast.
Plan to be dropped off at the Library by 12:15 PM, so you can walk down the driveway to the high school for the 12:30 PM line up. We will have a float and a green KIA Soul representing ACI.
The float will have a ramp and can hold 12 to 15 people.
Participants will be invited to walk between the float and the green KIA Soul.
Please wear green! We will have large green clover shaped ACI signs for participants to carry.
The parade "step off" is at 1:30 PM sharp. It can last 4 hours. We are in the first half of the parade.
